  • Learner Permits have recently been adjusted as so that they will be valid for 36 months (3 years) from issue date. If the 3 years expire, pupils are required to present TM a full application. Probably this measure was taken for more efficiency and clarity on Learner Permits renewals, and to make sure that the pupil is still fit to drive. Thus, if you change school the permit will be replaced with the new school name, but only with the remaining months from first date of application. No more permit extensions, irrelevant how many times pupils change school.
